Did you know it is a legal and safety requirement for all workplaces to appoint trained fire marshals/wardens to keep your employees and clients safe. The number of fire wardens/marshals you need depends on the size and nature of your business.

Factors to consider

  • Layout of building
  • Size of the premises
  • Number of floors in the building
  • Number of employees working at the premises at one time
  • Location

A fire warden is responsible for  leading the evacuation of the building in the event of a fire, and can help minimise damage and casualties

The Importance of Fire Training

Fire training is important as well trained employees understand the importance of fire safety measure and they are less likely to panic in an emergency. They know how to act if a fire does break out in the workplace, and they can safely and quickly evacuate the premises.
